Almatec Futur

Description

Air-operated diaphragm pump from the Futur series

ALMATEC has been building special pumps for chemical supply and bath circulation in the semiconductor industry since 1984. The FUTUR pump series has been specially developed for the special requirements of this sector.

The material variants for the different applications in the semiconductor industry are:

  • 4 sizes in PTFE/UPPE for acids and alkalis up to 130°C (type FUTUR T)
  • 2 sizes in PTFE for hot applications of acids and alkalis up to 200°C (type FUTUR H)
  • 4 sizes in UPPE for polishing agents (type FUTUR E)
  • 2 sizes in stainless steel 1.4404 for solvents (type SLS)

The various sizes achieve maximum flow rates of between 10 and 200 l/min. Appropriate pulsation dampers are available for every material variant and size.

All pumps in the FUTUR series are dry-run safe and self-priming air-operated diaphragm pumps. They have a compact, simple design with only a few parts. The solid construction of the housing parts ensures a long service life. Cleaning, assembly and final testing of the FUTUR pumps is carried out in a class 100 clean room line.

The latest generation of FUTUR pumps is the FUTUR-Omega series, which meets the highest safety requirements for high-end applications:

  • Made entirely of PTFE
  • New design with Ω-shaped base frame
  • Diaphragms and centre housing with anti-rotation lock
  • New PTFE diaphragm material
  • Three sizes with max. flow rates of 20, 50 and 100 l/min
Depending on the application, also available made entirely of polyethylene and stainless steel

  • Temperature range up to 200°C (H)
  • Patented non-contact cascade seal between the product chambers
  • No O-ring seals in contact with the product
  • Internal flow of the pumped medium with only one part of the housing in contact with the product
  • Lubrication- and maintenance-free PERSWING P® air control system
  • Internal air routing
  • Diaphragms without plates and seals, with optimised diaphragm geometry
  • Surface-sealing cylinder valves
  • Compact, simple design with few parts, low space requirement
  • Solid construction
  • Easy disassembly and assembly
  • No fastening elements such as tie rods, nuts or straps
  • Separate pulsation damper for all material variants and sizes
  • Simple retrofitting of a diaphragm and/or stroke counter sensor
  • Low noise level
