Quattroflow

Quattroflow™ works closely with our customers in the development and manufacture of quaternary (four-piston) diaphragm pumps specifically designed for critical applications in the biopharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

The Quattroflow pump's mode of operation enables aqueous solutions and biological products that are sensitive to shear to be conveyed gently and safely. The four-piston design contains no mechanical shaft seal or wetted rotating parts, ensuring complete product pick-up without abrasion. In addition, the four-piston pump principle enables risk-free dry running, low pulsation, self-priming and minimised particle generation. Quattroflow pumps are available with cleanable multi-purpose pump chambers made of stainless steel or disposable plastic pumps.

How the quaternary quattroflow diaphragm pumps work

Quattroflow Quaternary Diaphragm Pumps are unique in the way they work and mimic the human heart. This is the perfect model for the safe, reliable and efficient transfer of biological material. With operation that offers low friction, low shear and low pulsation, Quattroflow pumps are ideal for critical applications in biopharma manufacturing, including tangential flow filtration (TFF), chromatography (RFC), centrifuge feed, sterile virus filtration, purification and inline dilution. Quattroflow pumps can also be equipped with a disposable liquid chamber, which enables them to fulfil strict speed-to-market requirements.
