WILDEN® INTRODUCES CHEM-FUSION IPD DIAPHRAGMS FOR PRO-FLO® SHIFT BRAHMA™ SERIES PUMPS
Wilden® is pleased to announce the expansion of our Chem-Fuse full-stroke integral piston diaphragms (IPDs) to Pro-Flo® SHIFT Brahma™ series pumps. Brahma series pumps safely and effectively convey solids-laden slurries by utilizing a unique top inlet, bottom outlet orientation, and flap valves to allow passage of large solids and prevent damage from product entrapment and solids buildup in intermittent duty applications. The new IPD diaphragm is available in Wil-Flex® (Santoprene®) and is ideal for Wilden's 51 mm (2“) and 76 mm (3”) Pro-Flo SHIFT Brahma metal screw-type AODD pumps.
This launch also includes new Brahma flap valves, which are also available in a Wil-Flex (Santoprene) material option for extended service life. The butterfly valves can handle large solids up to 76 mm (3"). Chem-Fuse IPDs (Wilden's patented technology) solve many of the critical problems faced by industrial applications that use conventional diaphragms.
The advantages of Chem-Fuse IPD diaphragms include:
- The most durable diaphragms in the industry with 2-3 times the service life
- Elimination of leaks at the outer piston
- Easy installation
- Easy to clean
- “A” rating for abrasion resistance
- Wide temperature range from -50˚ to 130˚C (-58˚ to 266˚F)
- Guaranteed reliability due to exclusive availability as an authentic Wilden part.
