The explosion-proof dosing pumps Ritmo®-05 in the classification
Ex II 2G Ex eb mb pxb IIB T4, approved in accordance with EC-EX Directive 94/9/EC
Ritmo®-05 dosing pumps in the Ex version are designed for dosing liquid and gaseous media of gas class 2B in potentially explosive atmospheres in zones 1 and 2 (with the exception of gases of class IIC, such as hydrogen, acetylene or carbon disulphide).
The explosion-protection safety is based on type of protection EEx p and consists of a pump housing with Ex e approval and an Ex p control unit with flushing and pressure control function, proportional valve technology with automatic leakage compensation and a PTFE pump head decoupled from the Ex housing.
Approved in accordance with EC Directive 94/9/EC.
Classification Ex II 2G Ex eb mb pxb IIB T4.
Use in the environment with the classification ATEX II 2 GDT4 (Zones 1 and 2).
Housing in IP 54 design.
PTFE pump head decoupled from the explosion-proof housing to prevent the ingress of dosing liquid or gas into the explosion-proof housing.
Flushing connection for generating a housing overpressure (max. 12 mbar) with air/compressed air or nitrogen (flushing volume: 50 litres).
Ex p control unit integrated into the Ex housing with purge and pressure control function and automatic leakage compensation.
Ex-proof terminal box for 230 VAC power supply.
Process capability and automation via analogue (4-20mA) and digital interfaces (RS232), with interface relay and in fixed installation on Ex-proof terminal box.
Compressed air connection with proportional valve technology for pressurising the pump housing.
Pump in the R05-Ex-TH version can be heated with heat transfer fluid up to 120°C (< temperature class T4) or cooledwith a cooling medium.
