Areas of application:

Drum-emptying pump units are used where drums have to be emptied almost completely. This significantly reduces the contamination of landfill sites with hazardous liquids. With the material versions in PP or stainless steel (Niro), they are suitable for a wide range of applications.

 

The pump base with integrated valve reduces the residual volume in the drum to less than 0.1 litres

 

This pump is equipped with a backflow preventer (foot valve) that can be opened and closed manually with a handle. If a drum has been pumped empty, the foot valve should be closed while the motor is still running (left image). Then switch off the motor. The liquid in the pump tube and hose can now be removed from the drum together with the pump unit and immersed in a new one (right-hand image). Now open the foot valve again and continue working.

 

All pump variants with a radial delivery element can be retrofitted with the foot valve.
